Hopped off the freeway checked out a few of the other hotels , weren't quite up to par. As soon as I walked in the office everything smell new and clean. I got a great rate right away without playing the shell game. My room was also freshly painted clean with a very comfortable bed. The help was very friendly and accommodating will definitely stay here again when passing through.
We needed a quick place to stay for the night while traveling. This hotel made the whole process very simple and they were very affordable. Upon getting into the room we were quite surprised how nice and clean the room was. It’s probably the cleanest motel/Inn I’ve stayed in. We were late getting up, but they still let me go get coffee at the breakfast which was great. Their sheets and comforter were very soft. Along with the feather pillow top, you feel like your sleeping in a cloud. If you need to stay in Junction City, you shouldn’t stay anywhere else.
What we loved was that it was pet friendly, you could check in before 3pm, the single room was big enough for the two of us and our two pets, and the bed was unbelievably soft! My boyfriend remembers the hotel before the new owner, so he was quite impressed with the remodeling (lovely room for the price). The owner was very friendly, and the hotel was clean. Plus, breakfast! Some of the guest the next morning joked about it being small. No, there wasn't any scrambled eggs from a carton, microwaved bacon, or dry muffins wrapped in plastic wrap, but there was yogurt, toast, bananas, and some pastries. We were just glad there was food and coffee! Would definitely recommend and stop by again.
The staff is very friendly and they want you to have a good experience. It is clean and quiet, but the price accurately reflects the quality of the facilities. You can tell they have made some upgrades; for example, my room had a new, wall-mounted flat screen TV but a microwave from 1940. The floors had been recently tiled and carpeted but the workmanship was poor. The wifi and cable worked well.
This place is great for the price. The age and building materials of the building do give it a stale smell when u arrive to a room that has been empty. Nothing some spray won't fix in about 3 minutes. But the rooms are clean and the floors aren't carpet I've not seen any bugs the water is hot and the TV works great. The lady running the front is very nice an helpful she's the reason it got 4 stars. I would suggest staying here to anyone needing to sleep and shower in a clean place for a night without paying over 100 dollars a night. Hope this review helps.
This is my first time writing a review but we feel we need to share our experience. After driving through several towns where all lodging was full, we stumbled across this gem! The owner was a very nice man and eager to please. The room was clean and the linens and accessories were very nice quality. (Even had very soft toilet paper) Beds were comfy. The price was reasonable. We highly recommend staying here.
Stayed here twice within a week (driving out to Arkansas and then coming back). The clerk at the front desk was great, very friendly. The room was nice, air conditioning worked great. Location was awesome, right off of I70. Just 2 small things : there were a few cobwebs in the room and the power strip by the bed only worked if the light switch was on. Other than that, it was a great one night stay at an awesome price! Will definitely stop here again!
The Great Western lives up to its name!!! Clean, comfortable bedding, very pleasant staff. I stayed for a week when I first moved to the area, while looking for a house, and was VERY pleasantly surprised. It’s inexpensive, and very well taken care of. The on site washing machine and dryer work very well too! I would definitely stay here again!
We had a very nice stay here, the room was clean and the beds were comfy. The location has a cute little steakhouse next door, which was a great place for a quick dinner and drink.
This room was a pleasant surprise the beds were so comfortable not too hard not to soft , the pillows were really great! Biggest pillows I’ve seen in a motel It was clean and we got new towels every day the staff could not of been more helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep .
